In Heaviness We Are HappySometimes hearts become heavy, this doesn't necessarily mean that they are unhappy. It simply implies that they have become weighed down by love. They've lived life and, although their bearers have tasted misery, still survived to breathe another day. That's special. If you've never cried tears of true sorrow then you haven't smiled with true happiness either.
Hearts become heavy because love isn't like helium. Love doesn't float in the clouds, it is weighty like metal. That's what makes love so precious, because like gold we cannot afford to lose it. You see, because of love's heaviness, we notice when it's gone.

I had a load of questions playing around my head about statistics of gaming and i found it quite hard to find straight forward concise answers to these questions. So i decided to create an info-graphic which was simple and to the point yet graphically beautiful, so i created this along side 3 others, basically blown up statistics. They were designed to influence peoples judgement on gamers, as the majority of non gamers have a narrow minded view, such as, saying gaming is a waste of time, and makes people lazy, etc

What the actual fuck, 9GAG stole my infographic?
I uploaded this to tumblr last year, you can double check the URL, i uploaded it before i submitted this for my Final major project, i was asked to moved around some of the images to make it flow better. So i decided to upload it again to tumblr and a friend recommended i upload to deviant art and try get some money out of some prints.

These are some good illustrations and statistics, but I don't think they really make an argument about gaming as a positive element. (Sorry people are stealing it, though. 9Gag is just full of plagiarism.)

Eh this all seems legit but ummm...artist? Where did you get the info regarding genders while gaming? I know there are female gamers, of course, but that they make up nigh half of the population? Pffft. It just really confounds me. I mean as a high school student, nearly every single dude in my school of 1600 people plays video games at least somewhat faithfully, about 90 or so percent or so of males, and a good portion of that plays them constantly, like at least several hours daily, dozens every week. Where as only about 5% of chicks at my school even care about video games, and the ones that do only play mario cart or something every now and then.
Question: What definition of gamer did you use?
Do you classify gamer as anyone who plays video games in general, thusly a person who play angry birds a lot on an i phone would classify or as some one who plays proper video games on consoles or PCs for extended periods of time?

And if your definition of a gamer is someone who has a passion for video games, wouldn't that allow someone who doesn't even play video games, but tries to exploit the culture for fad appeal (like a hipster for example) to be classified as a gamer? I bring this up because personally, it's common place to see chicks who use the gaming culture as a way to seem nerdy or geeky (another growing fad) where as I've rarely or never seen dudes do this.

I was shocked to see that the amount of female gamers was so high too. However, the way that your school seems isn't necessarily how other schools function. At my school, there are plenty of girls that play video games. There's also plenty of more sporty guys that don't even bother with the things.
More importantly, why should the games you play define whether or not you are a "real" gamer. It may be Mario Kart, but it's still a game that requires some amount of strategy.

Sorry it took me a bit to reply but the games being played matters because a game like mario cart is classic retro-hipster bait, nintendo as a whole is really, though if the chick plays some text only MUD or puts tons of time into rpgs or the like, it's almost obligatory that she is a real gamer. Obviously there is a grey area but the games do matter.
